Professional espresso machine cleaning

TEVO® Maxi is a portion-controlled tablet for removing coffee oils, grounds and stains from traditional espresso machines. Regular cleaning helps maintain clean group heads, valves and brewing paths.

Directions for backflushing

1. Remove the group handle and rinse the group head.
2. Place one TEVO® Maxi tablet in the blind filter and insert the group handle.
3. Start the cleaning cycle for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds and repeat five times.
4. Remove the group handle, rinse it and run the group for 10 seconds.
5. Reinsert the group handle and repeat the 10-second on/off cycle five times using clean water.
6. Discard the first espresso after cleaning.

Cleaning group handles and filters

1. Add two tablets to 500ml of hot water.
2. Soak the group handles and filters for 10 minutes.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean potable water.

Suitable for: Traditional espresso machines that accept this tablet format. For automatic bean-to-cup machines, use the Cafetto tablet size and cleaning programme specified by the machine manufacturer.
