Professional espresso machine cleaning
TEVO® Maxi is a portion-controlled tablet for removing coffee oils, grounds and stains from traditional espresso machines. Regular cleaning helps maintain clean group heads, valves and brewing paths.
Directions for backflushing
- Remove the group handle and rinse the group head.
- Place one TEVO® Maxi tablet in the blind filter and insert the group handle.
- Start the cleaning cycle for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds and repeat five times.
- Remove the group handle, rinse it and run the group for 10 seconds.
- Reinsert the group handle and repeat the 10-second on/off cycle five times using clean water.
- Discard the first espresso after cleaning.
Cleaning group handles and filters
- Add two tablets to 500ml of hot water.
- Soak the group handles and filters for 10 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean potable water.

Suitable for: Traditional espresso machines that accept this tablet format. For automatic bean-to-cup machines, use the Cafetto tablet size and cleaning programme specified by the machine manufacturer.
