The highly caffeinated origin story
We spent too much money on coffee. So we started a company.
Two friends, one expensive caffeine habit and the apparently radical idea that excellent coffee should not require a small bank loan.

We took the problem personally
We were avid coffee drinkers spending a significant amount of money on our caffeine fix. Eventually, common sense arrived late to the meeting: find the best coffee at an affordable price.

We did the research. Annoyingly, properly.
After extensive research, international trips and more conversations than any reasonable person should have about coffee, we secured excellent brands that satisfied our own demanding cravings.

Then we drank the stock
We consumed most of our initial stock first—because priorities—then launched kafecafe.com.mt on 6 November 2020. It was not the textbook sequence. It was, however, thoroughly tested.

Malta wanted more. Sensible place.
Since then, KafeCafe has grown and expanded into local supermarkets, making exceptional coffee easier to find without sending customers on an international expedition.
Coffee for businesses that have actual work to do
We also supply automatic bean-to-cup coffee machines for offices and takeaways, helping businesses keep fresh coffee flowing continuously. Because productivity powered by lukewarm instant coffee is a brave experiment nobody requested.
